Seeking Public Input Meeting for OHMVR Grant

For Immediate Release

Project Heal the Land Lakewood, CA 90713

Lakewood, Calif., February 13, 2023 –Project Heal the Land (PHtL) will be seeking public input for their upcoming State of California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR) preliminary grants that will be submitted on March 6, 2023 with the final grant applications due June 5, 2023.

California state regulations require public input prior to the preliminary application deadline for this fund allocation process. These grants will support education materials and safety programs for the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) community and those seeking to use OHV trails in California. Interested citizens are invited to click in at any time during this

informative session and discussion. Representatives from PHtL will be available to answer questions about the potential grant and to receive ideas about the types of projects and other opportunities to be funded through the grant.

Project Heal the Land had the support of the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation this past year to create materials for the OHV community and to partner with the OHV industry to provide programs supporting safe and ethical practices on our California trails. PHtL is excited to expand our educational and safety programs with the OHV community.
